My translation and localization portfolio includes work across Education, EdTech, E-Learning, digital content, websites, marketing, terminology, and audiovisual content.
Because many of the projects I work on are covered by confidentiality agreements, client materials and proprietary content cannot always be displayed publicly.
Instead, this portfolio presents representative project types based on my professional experience. Each project highlights the kind of content, linguistic challenges, and services involved, while respecting client confidentiality.
With more than 20 years of experience as a freelance translator and localization specialist, I bring together linguistic expertise, pedagogical knowledge, and hands-on experience with digital content and localization workflows.

European Portuguese Educational Terminology
Translation and adaptation of educational terminology into European Portuguese as part of the European Parliament's EDUTerm Project.
The project involved working with specialized educational terminology and adapting terms for the linguistic and regional conventions of European Portuguese.
This experience demonstrates my ability to work across Portuguese-language variants and to consider terminology, regional conventions, and specialized educational contexts when adapting content.

Linguistic QA & Validation
Linguistic quality assurance and validation of localized Portuguese content.
The review process focuses on identifying and correcting grammar, spelling, terminology, consistency, context, meaning, formatting, and language convention issues before content reaches its audience.
Depending on the project, linguistic QA may also involve reviewing user-facing text, digital interfaces, localized educational content, and content within LMS environments.
The goal is to ensure that the final Brazilian Portuguese version is accurate, consistent, natural, and fit for its intended use.
